During the inauguration of the Feed Pilot, we focus on dialogue and experience. Representatives from all stakeholder groups – spanning research, industry, agriculture, and policy – will be given the floor to share their perspectives on the future of animal nutrition. This will be followed by guided tours of the pilot facility, offering visitors a first-hand look at the technologies and applications in practice.

Innovation in animal nutrition, from concept to application, takes center stage: the Feed Pilot is a unique facility for the development and production of precision feeds, including the integration of innovative proteins, such as those produced via microbial fermentation. Here, science, industry, and practice converge to develop tangible solutions to today’s key challenges, including sustainability, circularity, and animal welfare. Through this infrastructure, we aim to accelerate innovation, optimize processes, and provide evidence-based answers to societal challenges such as climate impact and the protein transition.
