UGent there is top expertise present for the identification, quantification, characterization and purification of proteins. Expertise is present on the purification and characterization of proteins, via chromatographic techniques. The Applied Biotechnology research group focuses on synthetic biology of modular proteins, allowing new-to-nature functions of proteins to be developed. The Bart De Vreese group works mainly on protein analytics, proteomics and protein discovery, and has a complete protein production pipeline. Nele.ameloot@ugent.be
